제목 Molecular Design Based on B-Fluorescent Materials in Terms with the Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence
초록 A Narrow emission spectrum with small full width at half maximum (FWHM) is an important parameter to be employed for thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) organic light-emitting diode (OLED) application as an emissive material.  Here, we have designed a new molecule by substituting eight additional Tertiary butyl groups on conventional DABNA named as TrB-DABNA. In this molecular design, boron and nitrogen atoms are arranged in a precise pattern and induce multiple resonances in the main rigid framework, resulting in a clear localized HOMO and LUMO distribution. This might lead to a decrease in the energy gap between the singlet excited state (S1) and triplet excited state (T1). In addition, we expected that the introduction of bulky group on the core molecule may improve the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of the device. In view of such merits in the molecular design, we believe that this design would yield impressive results in FWHM, EQE and efficiency.
