Synthesis and Characterization of Organic Dye Hybrid Oligosiloxane for High Performance Solid-State Dye Laser |
초록 |
The concentration of organic dye in solid-state dye laser affects to laser properties such as optical gain, lifetime and lasing threshold. But it is not easy to increase the concentration of dye because of self-quenching that lead to decline of fluorescence. To prevent eximer formation of organic dye molecules, we have synthesized DCM hybrid oligosiloxane (DCM-hybrimer) using sol-gel technique. The DCM is chemically grafted with methacryl oligosiloxane and it shows higher fluorescence property compare with conventional guest-host system. Furthermore, we had optimized the process for the fabrication of solid-state dye laser and the efficiency was measured depends on the concentration of organic dye. |
