Surface modification of three-demensional biogenic porous silica using TiO2 |
초록 |
Material surface property is one of important factors determining the success of a biomaterial upon implantation. Meanwhile, silicon is a material used in a variety of applications including catalyst, microelectronics, gas separation, etc. Since silica acts important elements in the formation of bone tissue, it is widely used in tissue engineering fields. In this investigation, porous biogenic silica (PBS) was prepared by immobilizing nanosize titania particles for the purpose of surface modification of silica. PBS crystallinity and selection of binders were performed by various analytical methods including XRD, zeta potential, XPS, EDS and FE-SEM. |
