제목 | Characterization and MRI contrast effect of biocompatible polysuccinimide grafted Gd-DTPA |
초록 | Polysuccinimide has physico-chemical characteristics for development of macromolecular prodrugs, due to biocompatibility, biodegradability, easy synthesis, low cost and easy functionalization.1-2 We deal with the synthesis of PSI having various functional groups such as poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), Hexadecylamine (C16) and Gd-DTPA via ring opening of PSI. And the formation of nanoparticle micelle as drug carrier was also examined. PSI was synthesized by polycondensation polymerization of aspartic acid. Functionalization of PSI was carried out by introduction of PEG, C16 and Gd-DTPA into PSI. Micelle size was measured by ELS and AFM. Fig. 1 showed micelle size and shape. Also, we measured MRI.3 Fig 2 show contrast effect of gadolinium phantom. Fig. 1 Micelle shape of PSI-PEG- C16-DTPA-Gd.
