제목 Synthesis and Characterization of High Refractive Index films based on Acrylic Resin/TiO2 nanocomposites for optical devices
초록 The high refractive index (RI) is the most mainly important factor for optical application, such as lenses, optical cables, anti-refractive (AR) coating, etc. Most organic materials have a small RI (1.3 – 1.7) due to their chemical structure limitation. On the other hand, inorganic materials usually have a high RI (2.0 – 5.0). But, they have many disadvantages such as higher densities and lower flexibility. To overcome this limitation, inorganic nano-fillers were introduced into organic resins. In this study, we fabricated a refractive index film by introducing TiO2 particles into the acrylic resin. The acrylic resin was synthesized based on 4,4'-thiobisbenzenethiol and TiO2 was modified with a silane agent to improve dispersibility. Fabricated acrylic resin/TiO2 nanocomposites were characterized using Fourier Transform Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (FT-NMR),  Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Their optical properties were characterized by UV-Vis. and Ellipsometer.
