Effect of Taylor vortex on Phase transformation of GMP in Cotinuous Couette-Taylor crystallizer |

Crystallization of GMP by drowning-out was investigated using methanol as an anti-solvent in Couette-Taylor crystallizer for production of GMP crystals. The transformation of GMP includes two processes: the dissolution of GMP amorphous and the nucleation-crystal growth of GMP crystal. In this research, we examined the effects of mixing properties of Taylor vortex on the transformation via the crystallinity of GMP. As the result, the crystallinity of GMP can obtain one hundred percent at 300rpm with various feed concentration. |
