Rapid and facile desulphurization of liquid fuel by carbon nanoparticles dispersed in aqueous phase
Aqueous dispersion of carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) which can be prepared by a clean, cheap and convenient rout are potential candidate for desulphurization of liquid fuel. We present the applicability of CNPs for removal of organosulphur compounds from liquid fuel. The obtained results indicate that CNPs can be used for efficient, easy and rapid adsorption of different organosulphur compounds from liquid fuel. The main advantage of dispersed CNPs for desulphurization of liquid fuel is the high rate of process (within 20 min), operating at ambient conditions and ease of separation from the fuel.
