Meat packing plant in USA cuts maintenance costs by installing automatic filters
Indiana Packers Corporation, a meat packing plant located in Delphi, Indiana, USA, uses water from its own on-site well in its process. It recently replaced its cartridge-style filters with self-cleaning automatic stainless steel filters from Tekleen, achieving better water quality and lower maintenance costs as a result. The project had an 11-month payback time based on reduced labour costs and eliminated the need to continually purchase replacement filters.
