The use of synthetic media in bag filters has grown considerably in recent years. Currently almost all manufacturers of bag filters,. use synthetic media to some extent, and in-house estimates by McLeod Russel indicate that well over half the bag filter market in the UK, and in Europe as a whole, buys synthetic in preference to glass filter media.
