Removal of the trace amounts of volatile pollutants from liquids using stripping to an inert gas. I. Theoretical background
Modelling of the VOC stripping processes into an inert gas carried out in bubble columns at different conditions (steady-state co-and counter-current, batch versions, plug flow and axial dispersion in both phases taken into account) has been considered. In Part I theoretical background and the results of numerical simulations of the stripping process are presented.
