The main purpose of this investigation is to propose the empirical equations for calculation of power consumption, mixing time and mixing energy, in particular for a ribbon agitator in the form useful for practical applications. These equations are determined using the results of the earlier reports. The experimental investigations for the helical ribbon agitator were also carried out. The results are compared with those of other reports.
