Various flow patterns can be encountered in a solid-liquid pipeline, which affect the hydrodynamic characteristics of the Row. A method for displaying their range of existence by means of flow maps is presented. The maps are drawn from the results of a phenomenological model. The effect of the various operational conditions on the Row pattern transitions are obtained easily using the maps.
