The principle of sustainability, which is fixed in the area of environmental protection, is going to be more and more considered in the curing environmental protection like soil and groundwater remediation. While discussion is in full swing in the European foreign countries, in Germany discussion just has started. Amongst the three relevant pillars - environment, economy and society - at present the reduction of resource consumption in terms of green remediation is considered.
