The heating, by viscous dissipation, of liquids flowing across an enclosed rotating disc
An experimental study confirmed that viscous dissipation energy generated by closely spaced discs, one of which is rotated at high speed, could be used to heat viscous fluids. The rate of viscous dissipation energy generated can be accurately predicted using simple theoretical methods. (C) 2000
