Interphase fluctuation propagation and superposition model for boiling nucleation
Although boiling has been the subject of numerous investigations, there are still a number of fundamental nucleation phenomena needed to be explained consistently. A new proposed physical model termed the 'interphase fluctuation propagation and superposition model', was used to successfully explain the physical nature of heterogeneous nucleation processes. the new concepts of 'evaporating space' and 'fictitious boiling' were quoted here to explain nucleate boiling at the microscale level and resulted in a significantly enhanced understanding and a much clearer representation of the physical significance of the fundamental parameters that govern nucleate boiling.
