L-Arabinose production from sugar beet arabinan by immobilized endo- and exo-arabinanases from Caldicellulosiruptor saccharolyticus in a packed-bed reactor
The immobilized endo- and exo-arabinanases from Caldicellulosiruptor saccharolyticus produced continuously an average of 16.5 g l(-1) L-arabinose from 20 g l(-1) sugar beet arabinan at pH 5.0 and 75 degrees C for 216 h, with a productivity of 9.9 gl(-1) h(-1) and a conversion yield of 83%.
