Porous microspheres were prepared by a solid-in-oil-in-water (S/O/W) emulsion. Effects of inorganic salt on pore formation were investigated. Sodium chloride (NaCl) is a proper pore inducing agent, and large uniform pores were obtained with addition of 0.5 M NaCl.
