DIESEL FUEL PRODUCTION BY EXTRACTION PURIFICATION OF DELAYED-COKING LIGHT GASOIL
One-step extraction of organosulfur compounds, aromatic hydrocarbons, and resins from delayed-coking light gasoil using N,N-ditmethylformamide, N-methylpyrrolidone, and phenol with 8 wt. % water as extractants is investigated. Water-free dimethylformamide was chosen as the most effective extractant for obtaining diesel fuel on the basis of the physical-chemical properties and yield of the raffinates obtained.
