Synthesis and X-ray crystal structure of K4PbTe3 center dot 2(en)
K4PbTe3 . 2(en) has been synthesized from the reduction of an alloy, of nominal composition PbTe2, with potassium metal in ethylenediamine ten). The structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and contains the new Zintl anion PbTe34-.
