Design and Non-Lithographic Fabrication of Light Trapping Structures for Thin Film Silicon Solar Cells
A self-assembled light trapping structure is numerically designed on the backside of thin film silicon solar cells and fabricated by using porous alumina as a template. It is demonstrated that this structure can effectively increase the optical absorption and thus improve the solar cell performances.
