Complete Characterization of Thermoelectric Materials by a Combined van der Pauw Approach
Thermoelectric materials can convert waste heat directly into electrical power and represent an important contribution to lessen energy scarcity. Here we present a novel, simple and inexpensive approach for a complete thermoelectric characterization, by which all relevant quantities, like the electrical conductivity, the thermal conductivity, the Seebeck coefficient, and the figure of merit, can be determined directly.
