Very High-Field Magnetization and Intermolecular Interactions - Application to ((Tmen(2-Meim)Cu)2(C2O4))(PF6)2 (Tmen = N,N,N’,N’-Tetramethylethylenediamine, 2-Meim = 2-Methylimidazole)
Very high-field magnetization measurements can provide quantitative information concerning intermolecular interactions between antiferromagnetically coupled binuclear units. This technique has been applied to the case of an oxalato-bridged copper(II) compound. To our knowledge, no other technique could lead to this result.
