Synthesis of Metal-doped LiFePO4 from Nickel Laterite Lixivium
Nickel laterite lixivium is purified by fast phosphate coprecipitation. ICP analysis confirms that Ni, Co, Mn recovery rates are 88.83, 92.66, 93.48%, respectively, and all iron is removed as FePO4 center dot xH(2)O precursor with trace Al, Mg, Ni, and Mn elements. To evaluate the structure and electrochemical performance of FePO4 center dot xH(2)O, metal-doped LiFePO4 is prepared from the as-prepared precursor. It is noted that the metal-doped LiFePO4 exhibits well-crystallized structure, homogeneous distribution, and excellent electrochemical properties.
