CALCULATION FOR THE CYCLIC STRENGTH OF THE COKING CHAMBER SUPPORT UNIT BY THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
The problem of determining the strength of the coking chamber support unit is examined. In evaluating the stressed state of the support unit, the effect of the ring for assembling the insulation on the temperature distribution in the support shell was taken into consideration. As a result of installing this ring, the temperature gradient over the height of the support shell decreases and the level of the stressed state of the support unit correspondingly decreases.
