EFFECT OF REACTION TEMPERATURE ON THE SELECTIVITY OF OXIDATIVE METHANE COUPLING OVER LEAD OXIDE
In the oxidative coupling of methane over lead oxide, reaction temperature is a critical variable which determines the reaction pathway of methyl intermediates on the surface. Low temperature favors oxidation to carbon oxides, while high temperature favors desorption as methyl radicals.
