Total Helical-Sense Bias of an Achiral Peptide Main Chain Induced by a Chiral Side-Chain Bridge
A single intramotecular cross-linking between the chiral side chains at the i and i + 3 positions induces only a one-handed helix in a 3(10)-helical peptide of which the main chain lacks a chiral center and, thus, transforms the "dynamic" helix to a "static" one.
