Synthesis of Thermally Stable Extra-Large Pore Crystalline Materials: A Uranyl Germanate with 12-Ring Channels
A thermally stable extra-large pore uranyl germanate is synthesized under high-temperature, high-pressure hydrothermal conditions at 585 degrees C and 150 MPa. The structure contains U6+O6 tetragonal bipyramids which are interconnected by digermanate groups to form a 3D framework with 12-ring pore openings.
