An Analysis of the Pressure Transient Behavior of Gas-condensate Reservoirs
During production of gas-condensate reservoirs, reservoir pressure is isothermally depleted beyond the point where the fluid phase envelope is crossed, which results in condensate drop out and a decreased gas permeability and well deliverability. Analysis of this type of reservoir based on traditional single-phase pressure transient behavior is no longer feasible. Our goal is to continue to explore the applicability of Boltzmann transformation techniques that could enable the prediction of reservoir performance and account for productivity losses present in such reservoirs, and from which the construction of potential production type-curves could be suggested.
