One of the important parameters involved in the design of crystallizers is the relative kinetic exponent, g/n. Its value can be determined either by separate measurements df the nucleation exponent n and the growth exponent g, or from suitable crystallization experiments. Accuracy of the experimentally determined parameters necessary for obtaining a suitable value of these exponents is discussed.
