Improvements in light oil combustion by adding small quantities of alcohol. Possible application in cold starts up, in thermal power stations
The state of the art techniques concerning the mixing of alcohol with Liquid fuels for combustion in furnaces is briefly presented. The test equipment consisting of a combustion chamber is described. Results when alcohol is added to traditional fuel in certain proportions are presented. Finally, conclusions of the mixtures behaviour are derived.
