The properties of Fushun shale oil (FSO) are analyzed in this article. The results show that the gasoline fraction in FSO only comprises 2.5-2.7%, fractions below 360C comprise approximately 40-50%. The waxy oil fractions comprise approximately 25-30%. The residual oil comprises 20-30%; wax content and nitrogen are 20.2% and 1.27%, respectively. Three different processing plans were introducedaiming at producing light fuel, producing industrial chemicals, and producing fuel and chemical materials, respectively.
