This article presents a new modern unit for energy production from contaminated biomass and/or alternative fuels, which is notable for its efficient integration of proven technological solutions. Its combustion chamber, heat utilization system, flue gas cleaning system and residual flue gas heat utilization are described in detail, together with the introduction of a reference full-scale experimental unit.
