PARTICULATE-EMISSIONS WITHIN FOUNDRIES - DUST ARRESTMENT REQUIREMENTS
Local exhaust ventilation, together with a means of arrestment and disposal of airborne particulates, provides the basis of the vast majority of dust control solutions in foundries and a multitude of other industries. The paper concentrates on dry bag filtration, and demonstrates how a basically simple and very economical form of dust and fume control can be applied to more arduous conditions to improve the working environment within foundries, as well as reducing emissions to the atmosphere, within the scope of current and anticipated legislation.
