Nowadays, a huge amount of recycled fiber are used as material to decrease production cost and preserve forest resources. But recycled fibers are known that their rnechanical and optical properties are lower than that of virgin fiber. Therefore, this study has been carried out to evaluate the properties of recycled fiber frorn pulp bale by controlling the pulping ternperature and dosage of sodiurn hydroxide during recycling process. As a result, rnechanicaI property of recycled fiber was irnproved at lhe conditions of high ternperature and high dosage of sodiurn hydroxide.
