Explicit method predicts temperature and pressure profiles of gas-condensate pipelines
Prediction of the flow temperature and pressure variations becomes more important in the design and operation stages of the two-phase pipelines. This study presents an analytical approach for easy prediction of these parameters at any point along the two-phase, gas/gas-condensate transmission lines, applying basic laws of momentum and energy conservation. Masjed Soleiman to Mahshahr gas-condensate pipeline located in the southwest of Iran, as an example, shows the impact of the present method on the proper prediction of the temperature and pressure profiles.
