Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) were soluble in aqueous media by using host-guest complex between sodium adamantanecarboxylate (AdCNa) and beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD), while SWNTs were insoluble with AdCNa or beta-CD.
