A thermally and electrochemically switchable molecular array based on a manganese Schiff base complex
The synthesis, characterization, and X-ray structure of new manganese valence tautomeric complexes are reported here. The feasibility to synthesize, characterize, and study the new tautomeric complexes as stable species allowed us to establish a new switching molecular array of six states that interconvert reversibly either thermally (valence tautomerism) or by a reversible oxidation process.
