From hydrochloric acid aqueous solution containing Sb2O3 and TeO2, thermoelectric Sb2Te3 film was successfully deposited directly on silicon by electrochemical technique at room temperature, and the mechanisms of deposition and nucleation are discussed. (c) 2006 The Electrochemical Society.
