Electrochemical detection of 2-naphthol on boron-doped diamond influence of anodic treatment
Synthetic boron-doped diamond thin film electrodes have been tested for electroanalytical detection of 2-naphthol. This redox reaction was studied by cyclic voltammetry in aqueous acidic solution. Well-resolved oxidation waves were observed and the voltammetric peaks exhibited naphthol concentration dependence. Linear calibration curves were obtained after a simple electrochemical anodic pretreatment.
