Fast method for the determination of the charge transfer coefficient of an electrode reaction
Results have been presented of measurements of the charge transfer coefficient of the oxygen evolution reaction on a composite electrode. Measurements have been carried out using the potentiostatic technique and non-linear electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. An excellent convergence of results has been obtained. It has been stated that non-linear electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is a measurement method allowing a relatively rapid measurement of the charge transfer coefficient value.
