S-Methylidene bis(diphenylthioacetate), S-chloromethyl diphenylthioacetate and S-methyl diphenylthioacetate were obtained by cathodic reduction of 2-bromo-2,2-diphenylacetyl bromide on a graphite cathode in a H2S saturated solution in dichloromethane.
