Warburg Type Impedance in Thin-Layer Unsupported Electrochemical-Cells Containing Associated Salts
The Warburg type impedances in thin layer unsupported electrochemical cells containing associated salts where the electrode reaction is kinetically reversible and the equilibrium between the associated neutral species and charge carriers is fast, are derived using the approach based on bulk electroneutrality. The extension of the approach to cells with slow electrode reactions where the use of the Nernst equation is not allowed, is also demonstrated by using the Butler-Volmer equation.
