Catalytic activity in water-gas shift reaction of platinum group metals supported on iron oxides
The activity of systems made of a platinum metal supported on Fe2O3 in the water-gas shift reaction (WGSR) has been studied. The iron oxide catalysts activity in WGSR are apparently determined by their redox properties that can be improved by addition of platinum metals.
