EFFECTS OF PRESSURE ON THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF C-60 STUDIED BY C-13 NMR
In fullerenes, the dynamics, molecular motion, and order- disorder transition temperature T(c) are strongly affected by the applied pressure. In this study, single-crystal C-13 NMR spectroscopy is used to study fullerenes under hydrostatic pressure as a function of temperature (200-343 K). Information is obtained on the thermodynamic properties of these materials, their phase behavior and their molecular dynamics.
