Coordination of the activities of Europe's polymer scientists is one of the major aims of the European Polymer Federation (EPF). Two-year presidencies are served by representatives of the various national organizations (currently Germany and from next year Switzerland), workshops and symposia being organized aimed at encouraging the international transfer of research expertise.
