Optimization of an Industrial 3-Phase Distillation Column Train with Experimental-Verification
An industrial plant was optimized with the help of synthesis methods, By the use of these methods new flow sheets could be developed and, furthermore, by a simulation tool the developed improved structure alternatives were analysed and valued. For the validation of the simulation tool and for the verification of the structure alternatives a pilot plant was built. First experimental results will be shown.
