Optimization of a Production Process from the in-Vivo Response of a Diagnostical Drug
A diagnostic drug’s manufacture and use has been modeled and optimized. The optimization is performed by means of a total approach, i.e., the best combination of process parameters to give an adequate biologic (in vivo) response is determined. The examined drug is Infoson(TM), a new contrast agent for ultrasonographic imaging consisting of air-filled microspheres suspension with a thin shell of heat aggregated human albumin.
