Optical and scintillation properties of Ce3+ doped YAlO3 crystal fibers grown by mu-pulling down technique

We have grown single YAlO3 crystal fibers using the so-called V-pulling down technique for scintillation applications. Good quality un-doped and Ce-doped crystal fibers with diameters in the range 0.3-2.5mm and length up to 150mm have been grown.
