Organic light-emitting devices with energy-level aligned double-buffer layers
We report on the fabrication of organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) using double-buffer layers on the indium tin oxide (ITO) anode. Both the luminance and the quantum efficiency of organic light-emitting devices have been improved by inserting double-buffer layers. Using a step-by-step procedure to smooth hole injection and transport, the energy levels introduced by the insertion layers are an effective method of improving the luminance characteristics.
