Stability and Dynamics of Continuous Crystallizers
The dynamic characteristics of continuous crystallizers,related to both the real and Hopf-bifurcation phenomena, are analyzed by using the moment equations model. Neccesary and sufficient conditions are derived for the stability of crystallizers, and stability regions are derived of for both the primary and secondary nucleation in the space of system parameters. Limit-cycle oscillations are shown and analysed.
